Q&A with Terence Gaw
Terence Gaw joined D&G in 2021 for the company, but it’s the people and opportunities to progress that keep him here. Terence was hired as a Sales Negotiator back in July 2021. Today, he’s a top performing Senior Sales Negotiator based in Battersea, working hard to help his customers make life-changing decisions with certainty and complete peace of mind.
Why did you join D&G?
I lost my job during Covid-19 when the company I worked for was forced to shut their doors. A close friend of mine, Steve Parry, referred me to D&G and when doing research online, I could see that D&G was truly unique. I really loved the fast-paced advert I saw online and the culture of the company.
Tell us about your journey so far.
I started in July 2021 with no real estate sales experience. The training and guidance that I received from everyone at Head Office and in D&G was absolutely amazing.
What keeps you here?
The amazing potential to grow within the company and to continue furthering yourself with like-minded colleagues.
Tell us about one of your proudest D&G moments?
There have been so many in the short time that I have been with D&G. Nothing beats your first sale, especially when it was a £1.75M home that had a glass floor on the top level...
Another great moment was selling 3 homes on the same street. My first "double" was extra special as I managed to sell our clients flat and then also sell them their new home as part of the chain transaction. Winning company sales competitions and making it onto D&G trips to Tenerife and to The Wilderness Reserve. Promoted to Senior Sales Consultant and being accredited with my MNAEA status was definitely right up there as well.
But the proudest moment so far was being awarded Top Sales Consultant in value and volume for the year 2022.... You just can't beat that ;)
