Tom was extremely knowledgable about the property and the Balham area. And was very professional when sharing information about the owners and reasons they were selling. He was very prompt in responding to us and co-ordinated repeated access to the property for us and our specialist surveyors and contractors. This is the third time I have bought a residential property (also sold two) and Tom was the most helpful property agent I have dealt with, at no time pressurising us to make a hasty decision. The purchase process progressed quickly, thanks to his involvement, we had completed and moved in within 4 months of making an offer.

I was looking for a realtor in London who was organised, efficient, proactive, understood the market, and would genuinely work around my needs. Shash came highly recommended by a friend, and I’ve been very happy with her service. She showed me a selection of her own listings with Douglas & Gordon, as well as properties listed through other agents within her network. The flat we found was exactly what I had been looking for. We were very pleased with the service provided by Tom Yeomanson of D&G. As explained at the start, Tom looked after all aspects of the dale of our house (viewings, offers, negotiations, troubleshooting, etc.) and kept us informed at all stages, even when we were overseas. With his help we achieved the asking price (higher than valuations by other agents).

I bought my Balham flat from Douglas & Gordon over twenty years ago and am very glad that I went back to them to sell it. Tom Yeomanson’s suggestion that I should try to market the property, ravaged by unanticipated structural work, ‘as a shell’ proved to be truly inspired – with prospective buyers flocking to take advantage of this perhaps rare opportunity. While I was 300 miles away in North Wales, Tom steadily steered the sale to a conclusion that left all parties very satisfied. He was an absolute godsend.

Allan Wegeland has proved there are some estate agents out there that are actually good at their job. Until he came along and persuaded me to give him the opportunity to sell my property, I had just about lost my faith in mankind, let alone estates agents! He worked tirelessly and tenaciously to steer what turned out to be an unnecessarily complicated sale involving four sets of solicitors (was like herding cats!) through to a successful completion. He showed diplomacy and patience with all parties concerned in the sale and purchase of the property and maintained a high level of communication throughout the process, always responding promptly and proffering intelligent information when required. He truly earned his commission and I would have no hesitation in recommending Allan’s services to anyone wanting a really knowledgeable, experienced and professional agent.
