Best Arcade Bars in London

Share

London is full of great bars and restaurants but sometimes going for a drink or a meal can be boring. Make your next night out a bit more interesting by visiting an arcade or playing some crazy golf. Even if you are not a huge gamer some the spots on our list have amazing food and drinks that you do not want to miss out on. Trust us, visit one of these Arcade Bars in London, and you’re in for a great night!

Gravity Wandsworth

One of the newest and largest entertainment centres in London is Gravity Wandsworth. It has everything, and we mean everything. Go-karts, mini-golf, bowling, e-darts, a virtual reality centre, and an arcade. Not to mention a food court with a cocktail bar and noodle bar. Did we miss anything?

Heart of Gaming

If you are a real gamer, Heart of Gaming will be your haven, your Garden of Eden, your Valhalla. It is a large venue with a huge range of retro games that will keep you entertained for hours. With 60 plus machines, 20 consoles, and 2 pool tables, it makes for a great day out. And the best part, it costs just £15 for a full day of entry, no coins needed.

Four Thieves

If you live near Battersea, you have probably heard of Four Thieves, if you haven’t, pay attention. This pub has VR gaming, karaoke, live comedy, and the Moonshine Raceway where you can race Scalextric cars against your friends. It’s not just games either, come for the bottomless brunch, or a roast on Sundays!

London Games Room

One of the most recognizable arcades in the city is London Games Room, that is probably because they have locations everywhere. There are venues in London Fields, Islington, Farrington, London Bridge, Hoxton Square, and two in Shoreditch.

Four Quarters

Four Quarters is an original arcade bar, serving great craft beer along with an America style bar menu. You can play some of the best restored arcade games like Tekken, Time Crisis, and even the original Mario Kart on Nintendo 64. Visit either of their two locations, in Peckham or Hackney.

NQ64 Soho

This is a personal favourite. NQ64 Soho is the perfect combination of arcade and bar. They have a late-night happy hour serving a house beer and the house special, the Tommy’s Margarita. The venue is a great vibe with neon graphics all over the walls and a space large enough so that it does not get too crowded. They also have two classic games that you do not see many other places, Guitar Hero, and Dance Dance Revolution. This is the place to visit.

Crazy golf has been taken to the next level. Puttshack White City is in the Westfields in West London and is home to some of the most innovative, patent protected technology crazy golf has to offer. Its interactive gameplay will keep you engaged from start to finish. There’s performance tracking, live scoring, and live leader boards at every hole, making the competition fierce.

Bounce

The home of ping-pong. That is Bounce’s slogan, and as far as we can tell, it is true. Get competitive with your friends in a traditional game of ping pong, beer pong, shuffleboard, or one of Bounce’s original games like wonderball. After an intense game feed your hunger with some pizza and try a house cocktail.

Platform is one of the first e-sports bars with two locations in London. Enter a multiplayer zone and play Nintendo Switch and PS4 with friends in a private booth or step up on the E-Sports stage and test your real gaming skills on PC Games like League of Legends and Overwatch.

Swingers

Swingers was born on an idea, pairing great street food with crazy golf, and it works. There are four amazing courses across two locations so if the food does not have you coming back the golf might. Visit either the West End or City locations for a fantastic date night or just a fun time with friends!

Loading Bar

Loading Bar is modelled after gaming cafés in Tokyo, allowing for a more relaxed environment to eat, drink, and play games. Aside from a great choice of entertainment, there is also game-themed food and drinks. You can order a Cyberpunk 2077, a Resident Evil, or my favourite, The Witcher 3.
