As we finally get some sunshine and lighter evenings, spring is not far off, making it the perfect time to freshen up and organise your home in time for spring.

With ‘Spring Cleaning’ having a massive 300% increase in searches over the past month, alongside ‘Spring Cleaning Checklist’ having a 40% increase in the last week, we have put together this essential spring-cleaning checklist, which includes simple yet effective tips that will help revive your home and make your house feel fresh for the new season.

1) Clean Windows – As more sunshine reaches into your home during spring, it's always a nice touch to ensure that windows are as clean as possible, with no marks or dust ruining the outside view.

2) Dusting & Cleaning Air Vents – As spring brings a chance for us to be out in the lovely fresh air more often, it is essential to ensure the inside of your home is also fresh. By dusting and cleaning out vents that may have been forgotten, you can improve the cleanliness of your home and the air quality you breathe in.

3) Deep Cleaning Floors & Surfaces – This can feel like an overwhelming job to do, but it is worth it! By deep cleaning all surfaces, you can guarantee that any germs and dirt are gone; a deep clean can also prevent surfaces from looking dull, giving an instant lift.

4) Sort Out Your Wardrobe – Less clutter can make such a difference; with spring near, it is a wonderful opportunity to sort out your shoes and clothes by looking at what you will or will not wear. Additionally, if you have the space, you could move some winter clothes into storage to clearly see your spring options.

5) Check Expiration dates – Another way to declutter is to look through your fridge, food cupboards, makeup, and medication drawers to get rid of anything that has expired or that you will not use.

6) Incorporate Fresh Flowers/Seasonal Plants - Fresh flowers or plants are one of the best ways to bring in spring; they provide health benefits and can really transform a room and brighten a simple space.
