Happy Halloween, and Guy Fawkes weekend! Where in London will you be enjoying the fireworks? Don’t forget to keep a close eye on your pets, however – the loud noises are no fun for sensitive ears!

Battersea Park

The Battersea Park fireworks display will be taking place this Saturday at 8pm. Gates will open at 6pm, with a bonfire at 7.30pm. There will also be a bar and food stalls with roasted chestnuts, toffee apples and mulled wine. Nobody will be allowed entry after 8pm, so do make sure to get there early!

Clapham Common

Friends of Clapham Common will be planting bulbs on the common this Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am to 12.30pm. All are welcome – you just need to bring your own spade, trowel and gloves.

The Clapham Grand

The Clapham Grand will be hosting their annual Halloween ball this Saturday evening from 9pm onwards. Those in fancy dress will be granted free entry before 10pm! There will also be prizes for the best outfits.

The Dime Bar

In the spirit of all things Halloween, the Dime Bar will be hosting a Halloween-themed party this Friday night from 7pm onwards. There will be prizes given out for the best costumes, as well as themed drinks and spooky games.

The Bedford

The Balham Craft Fair will be taking place at The Bedford this Saturday from 12pm to 5pm. Apart from all the beautiful crafts and handmade items, there will also be tea and cake on sale! Do go along and show your support for all things local.
