Somerset House

The new exhibition ‘Fashion Galore’ has opened at Somerset House. The display tracks the wardrobe and life of the remarkable late aristocrat and fashion guru Isabella Blow. Marvel at over a hundred pieces from her personal collection which includes unique garments from designers such as Alexander McQueen and Philip Treacy.

 

Hyde Park

This Friday marks the opening of Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park. The annual celebration includes an ice rink, a massive observation wheel, as well as a circus. Admission into the park is free, and gates open at 5pm.

 

Royal Opera House

Shakespeare’s most famous tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, is on show at the Royal Opera House on Friday. Come and watch this classic love story brought to life by the Royal Ballet accompanied by the Royal Opera House Orchestra.  Tickets range between £48 and £55.

 

West End

For some evening fun, visit the critically acclaimed Circus of Horrors in West End this weekend. The show, which shocked everyone at the finals of Britain’s Got Talent, takes you on a gory journey through plague ridden London in 1665, while simultaneously performing some of the most amazing circus acts ever brought to London.

 

Literary Pub Crawl

Come along on London’s first Literary Pub Crawl and get lost in pubs and clubs of Fitzrovia and Soho frequented by historic artists and writers. Presented by the late Charles Dickens and late Virginia Woolf, you will be taken on a journey in the new critically acclaimed performance tour starting at the Fitzroy Tavern and ending in Soho. Booking is essential.
