From all of us at Douglas and Gordon we hope you have a great weekend! Here’s our round up of events happening in your area for the next three days.
St Margaret's Church Christmas Fair
For some festive celebrations, why not visit the St Margaret’s Church Christmas Fair at The Village Hall in Park Road on Saturday. Children will get the chance to meet Santa in his workshop while parents peruse the many stalls on display. The fair sells everything from jewellery and handbags to homemade cakes and jams, and has tons of entertainment to keep the little ones busy.
Explore deepest Africa through the amazing photos of wildlife photographer Will Burrard-Lucas this Sunday. The Wetland Centre will showcase some of Will’s work from his latest trip to Zambia and will also include a talk on his adventures at 2pm.
The Half Moon Putney
There will be free Latin jazz and funk music being performed at the Half Moon Putney on Saturday night. The band, Los Pelos Rizos, features a wide range of instruments including trumpet, guitars, mandolin, violin, and bass, and is sure to bring you a night full of feet tapping and merriment.
The Museum drop-in at Fulham Palace is taking place this Sunday. The Victorian themed drop-in gives families the chance to dress-up in period costumes, explore artefacts and learn about the fascinating history behind Fulham Palace. Entry is free for everyone and doors open at 2pm.
Charity Christmas Fair
In preparation for Christmas, Kitson Hall will be hosting a charity fair this Saturday. Stalls will be filled with delicious treats, cards, decorations and stocking fillers. This year the fair will have a Kit for Kids area where children can do their own Christmas shopping. There will also be an activity area for children to make their own ornaments and decorate Christmas cookies.
