Battersea Evolution Christmas Party 

The holidays are here and that means it’s time to party. Every festive season Battersea Evolution transforms into a winter wonderland for their annual themed Christmas parties. Spectacular decorations, delicious food and breathtaking entertainment mean that Battersea Evolution is the place to be this festive season. Tickets start at £80. 

 

Carols and Midnight Mass at St Marys & St John the Divine

There will be a Carols by Candlelight service at St Marys & St John the Divine this Sunday the 22nd December. Families are welcome go down and join in on singing traditional Christmas songs in the church’s beautiful hall. There will also be a midnight mass by candlelight at 11.30pm on Christmas Eve.

 

Ice Skate at the Tower of London

Why not venture out of the borough into the heart of London to celebrate the Christmas season in the shadow of the historic Tower of London. Skaters will get the chance to glide along the tower’s frozen moat.  The rink will stay open until the 5th of January, and all are welcome to join in on the winter festivities.

 

Rotary Christmas Day in Battersea Park

Come and lend a helping hand at the Rotary Christmas Day lunch and tea party for the elderly in Battersea Park. What better way to spend Christmas than by helping others. If you are elderly or have elderly family members, you can attend as a guest as the borough celebrates the wisdom of the older members of its community.  

 

GUIDE TO NEW YEARS CELEBRATIONS

The Bedford New Year’s Eve Celebration

There are two exciting events happening at the Bedford this 31st. The Banana Cabaret NYE Special featuring John Molony and friends will have you laughing into the New Year for just £25. Or, if you’re looking to let loose you can dance the night away at the Bedford NYE Party. Tickets cost £15.

 

NYE at Balham Bowls Club

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in style at the Balham Bowls Club. The bar and restaurant promises to be filled with festive cheer as it brings you into the New Year. General admittance is £15 and Dinner is £50. 

 

New Year’s Eve at Clapham Grand

The Clapham Grand is offering visitors an evening full of entertainment and celebration on the night of the 31st December. From 7pm until 10pm some of London’s best comedians will be performing with Comedy Carnival. From there the Grand opens up for dancing at club night and doesn’t stop until 4am! Tickets are available for each event or as a package deal for £40.

 

New Year’s Day Parade

Join thousands of Londoners for the annual New Year’s Day Parade as it caps off the festive season. Over 10 000 performers from across the world will be making their way through the streets of London on the 1st of January in celebration of the New Year. The parade starts in Piccadilly at noon and finishes in Parliament Square at 3.15pm.
