Autumn Collection – London 21-24 October Now in its sixth year, the Affordable Art Fair returns with the Autumn Collection 2004. Fast establishing itself as the place to see and experience the widest range of contemporary art under one roof, the event is a must for anyone wanting to make owning original artwork a reality. The fair features over 130 leading galleries, dealers and studio groups from both the UK and abroad. Thousands of paintings, original prints and sculptures are for sale, all priced under £2,500. Works can be purchased, courtesy-wrapped and taken away the same day. All artists exhibited will be different from those shown at the Spring Collection 2004.

Whats in it for you?

Whether you are thinking about buying art for the first time or are already a serious collector, there is something for everyone. A huge variety of work will be on display from the very hip to the more traditional, be it an abstract, a landscape or a conceptual piece. Works by world-famous names are exhibited alongside young, unknown artists. The Recent Graduates’ exhibition, showcasing an exciting selection of work by fine art graduates from across the country, will be featured in the fair’s new entrance marquee. Many visitors take this as an ideal opportunity to talent-spot and acquire work by an emerging star of the future. The fair is open late on Thursday (until 9.30 pm). With its relaxed and easy going atmosphere, the fair is a great place to meet up with friends or take the kids after walking the dog in the park. There’s a wide choice of eating places, with a caf&#e9;, champagne bar and coffee stalls, as well as free sculpture and print-making demonstrations which run throughout the four days for those who would like to get stuck in to a bit of creativity.
