July 2005 - D-and-G tennis tournament 10th July 2005

In aid of The Bob Champion Cancer Trust

This will be the fifth year that the Battersea based charity, The Bob Champion Cancer Trust, will be holding their annual tennis tournament in Battersea Park. The Trust is delighted that Douglas&Gordon are kindly supporting us once again.

All money raised from the event will go towards the funding of a team of scientists for a four year period at The Bob Champion Cancer Research Laboratory – the first male dedicated cancer research centre in the UK – which is based at The Institute of Cancer Research.

The 2004 tournament raised £12,000 and we hope that we can beat this year and are setting our target at £15,000. We now need to keep our fingers crossed for fine weather!
