The Nutcracker - Royal Opera House

The Nutcracker will be performed at the Royal Opera House this Saturday. The classic tale, brought to life by the Royal Ballet, follows the story of a little girl and her magical toy as they go on a Christmas adventure together.  Tickets range from £40.

 

Christmas Chocolate Festival

Treat yourself this weekend at the Southbank Centre Christmas Chocolate Festival. The weekend-long celebration features many chocolate themed events, including learning to make your own chocolate bar and a Valrhona Chocolate Afternoon Tea based on the award winning novel and movie ‘Chocolat’.

 

Santacon

This Saturday, join in the fun of Santacon. The bizarre tradition of Santacon involves a group of Santas running around town singing carols and spreading Christmas cheer. The flash mob will be in a hidden location in Westminster, and will be announced 24 hours before the event, so keep your eyes and ears open.

 

Tristan Bates Theatre

The Tristan Bates Theatre will be showcasing some new talent this weekend. “Talkback” features a list of plays written and acted by group of South Asian women who speak out about unfair cultural norms. Tickets range from £7.

 

Consortium 5

Wind quintet Consortium 5 will be giving their candlelit performance at St Georges Bloomsbury this Saturday. The show starts at 7.30pm and will feature pieces from Bach and Telemann, as well as a list of other beloved composers from across Europe.
