The 3rd Annual Douglas and Gordon Kids Company Charity Day

Thursday 6th December

We will be visiting every street in the D&G area, so if you would like to donate please start putting your non-perishable food and any new, packaged toys aside and our teams will come to your door to collect them. Alternatively, making our collection buckets a little heavier with spare change, would certainly help!

If you’re not in on the day your local D&G office will happily accept any donations until the big day.

We will be operating a skeleton staff all day but we’re sure our usual service won’t be too hampered,
and after all it is for a very good cause.

Each year we help Kids Company to ensure that over 2,000 food parcels are hand delivered to families most in need over the Christmas period. Last year, at the end of a very rewarding we collected more than:

– 8 tonnes in contributions
– 350 full removal boxes
– 8,450 individual food items
– 1,000 brand new toys
– £8,500 in donations

We would greatly appreciate your help in beating that magnificent effort this year.

How You Can Help

By donating as many of the following products as you can: Rice, Pasta, Jams, Tinned Foods, Breakfast Cereals, Biscuits, Fruit Juices and Baby Food. We will collect them from you on 6th December, or if you’re not home you can drop them off at your local D&G office.
