The National Wedding Show

The National Wedding Show returns for a new season at Olympia National until Sunday, 22nd February 2015. This is the perfect day to try, buy, book and hire everything you need for your special day at the UK’s biggest wedding show. With over 300 wedding specialists from bridal boutiques and florists to jewellers and photographers, The National Wedding Show is the ultimate wedding shopping experience. Doors will open at 10am. Ticket prices start from £15.

St John’s Church

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Visit the St John’s market on North End Road in Fulham. Browse through beautiful handmade crafts, gifts, new and old handbags, dress jewellery and much more - held weekly every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 8am until 2pm.

Brook Green Market

West London’s brand new Brook Green Market at Addison Primary School in Addison Gardens is a one-stop-shop for fantastically fresh produce, on-trend street food, innovative master classes and maybe even somewhere to meet some new foodie friends!The market is open every Saturday from 10am-3pm.

Partridges Food Market

With 70 diverse stalls selling everything from cakes to speciality breads, and cheese to pies, this gourmet food market sees small producers, farmers and start-up businesses sharing their passion and expertise with the public. The market takes place every Saturday from 10am until 4pm at Duke of York Square.  It is a great place to buy lunch with international stalls selling sushi, Caribbean dishes, Moroccan cuisine and empanadas from Argentina. Stalls include The Ethiopian Coffee Company, Fatman Chilli, Comptoir Gourmand, the French Patisserie and The Pancake Man.

Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize 2015

The Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize was created in 2005 by the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers and the Lynn Foundation to encourage the very best creative representational painting and to promote the skill of draughtsmanship. Over 80 works will be on show by both emerging and established artists. This display will run until Saturday, 21st February 2015 at Mall Galleries. Admission is free.

The Wapping Group

Find artworks from The Wapping Group this weekend. The outdoor exhibition features familiar haunts including up-river, through all of riverside London and out to estuary locations. The artists’ work highlights the beauty of tideway and riverbank, sunlight and showers, boats and architecture, with over 100 works in various media, many completed entirely on location. This display will run until Saturday, 21st February 2015 at Mall Galleries. Admission is free.

Fulham Palace

Visit Fulham Palace this weekend 21st – 22nd February 2015 for the Young Archaeologists’ Club and the monthly historical tour or garden walk to view the country residence of the Bishop of London, Lord of the Manor of Fulham, which in the last century became his only home. Comedy Store

Don’t miss out on the jam-packed line up at the Comedy Store this weekend. Featuring the ‘Best in Stand Up’ Gary Delaney, Adam Bloom, The Noise Next Door, Paul Chowdhry and MC Ian Moore, this event will take place from 20th – 21st February. Doors will open at 7.30pm. Ticket prices start from £14.

Wedding Dresses 1775-2014

This magical exhibition highlights exceptional craftsmanship and brings together couture and designer-made wedding garments from key fashion designers including Charles James, Vivienne Westwood and Vera Wang. Join in and share the stories behind the outfits, celebrating the most comprehensive, nostalgic and evocative collection of wedding dresses and bridal fashions ever. This display runs until 15th March 2015 at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

A Theatre of Beer

Visit the international beer festival at The Clapham Grand tonight, 20th February. With 200 Cask Beers from around Britain, Cider Bar and Bottle Bar with beers from 20 countries in conjunction with Le Gothique Bar & Restaurant. Doors will open at 1pm. Ticket prices are £6.

Battersea Arts Centre

‘If I Cover My Nose You Can’t See Me’, ‘The Archivists’ and ‘Songs of Lear’ will be showing at the Battersea Arts Centreuntil Sunday, 22nd February. Show times vary. Tickets prices start from £12.

Venn Street Market 

Visit the Venn Street Market on the A3 just off the South Circular. Stop by for some locally sourced fresh seasonal fruit and veg; fresh Dorset fish from day boats; organic and free range meat, milk, eggs and poultry; artisan breads; award-winning cheeses; charcuterie; gluten free, vegan and vegetarian sweets and savouries;  and pastries, cakes, tarts and brownies. Polka Theatre
