Share

From all of us here at Douglas & Gordon, we hope you have a fantastic weekend! Here’s a roundup of all the great events taking place in Putney and Southfields.

Polka Theatre

The Polka Theatre in Wimbledon will be putting on a performance of Treasure Island this Friday at 10.30am and 2pm, and on Saturday at 11am and 2pm. If you have children to keep occupied this weekend, then bring them along to what promises to be an entertaining show!

Half Moon

For your music fix this weekend, the Half Moon Putney has you covered. Legendary British band “The Pretty Things” will be performing tonight at 8pm, whilst “Who’s Who”, a tribute band, will be taking the stage on Saturday evening, also at 8pm. On Sunday, visitors can enjoy a show from American blues singer and guitarist Catfish Keith.

International Wimbledon Music Festival

The International Wimbledon Music Festival will be taking place at locations in and around Wimbledon until 24 November. The line-up includes some fantastic musicians – you can find a full performance schedule here, so do go along and show your support.

Sprout Arts

This weekend is your last chance to view the exhibition “Reflections” by The Putney Group, at Sprout Arts (74 Moyser Road). Whilst entry is free, donations are welcome. Visitors will have the chance to view landscapes, still life and portraits, painted using colourful oils on canvas and board.
