Afternoon, everyone! Here’s what’s taking place in your area this weekend – have a great one!

Hammersmith Apollo

Comedian Sarah Millican will be performing at the Hammersmith Apollo on Friday and Saturday night at 8.30pm. This is her third national tour, and the shows promise to be lots of fun!

Remembrance Sunday

There will be two Remembrance Day parades taking place in the borough this Sunday. In Fulham, a procession will begin at Parsons Green Lane at 10.20am, before marching via New Kings Road to the Fulham War Memorial, where an open-air service will take place. Meanwhile, in Shepherds Bush, a procession will gather in Sulgrave Road at 10.15am and march to the Shepherds Bush Green War Memorial for a remembrance service.

Riverside Studios

A new exhibition opened up at Riverside Studios this week, showcasing iconic images of the Albert & Friends Instant Circus from the past thirty years. London's premier youth circus originated in the parks of Hammersmith and Fulham in 1983, and has performed in cities around the world.

Also taking place at Riverside over the weekend is “Made in Prague: Czech-o-Slovak Film Series”. Organised by the Czech Centre London, this year's theme explores the best of Czech and Slovak cinema.

London Olympia

If you feel like venturing a little further out the borough, then do stop by the London Olympia for their “Spirit of Christmas” fair, which began on the 5th and ends on Sunday.  Visitors will have the opportunity to browse a variety of beautiful festive gifts and treats, and get their Christmas shopping done early! Meanwhile, the Spirit Food Hall Gallery will provide plenty of inspiration for festive banquets, with delicious treats and recipes on offer.
