Tell us a little bit about yourself. Where did you grow up? Whereabouts do you live now?

I grew up in North Wales, went to boarding school in Bath and after studying Real Estate and Land Management at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester moved to London to follow a career in residential property.

How long have you been an estate agent for?

I have been working in estate agency since graduating in 2012.

How long have you worked for D&G? What’s the greatest thing about working for them?

I have been working for Douglas and Gordon in both the Sales and Lettings Departments in South Kensington since last June and love it!

What’s the funniest story you have from your time at Douglas & Gordon?

Running around South Kensington dressed as a reindeer on Kids Co Day would feature high up there at the moment, thankfully I was not alone!

When you’re not in the office or showing people around, what do you do in your spare time? Any interesting hobbies we should know about?

“If you want something done then ask a busy person” would sum me up rather well. When I am not in the office you can often find me running soup kitchens in London feeding the homeless, exploring London with my friends or back in the countryside of North Wales for a dose of fresh air and fields and spending a bit of well-earned time with my horse.

What questions do you most commonly get asked by clients/customers?

“Please can I have your lettings and sales lists?”

What advice do you have for people looking to buy or rent in South Kensington?

Go into it with an open mind and an awareness of the differences between what you ‘need’ and what you ‘want’ for your money - and do please let us help you.

What do you love about South Kensington? What are your favourite hangouts? Where do you grab your coffee in the morning, or take a business lunch?

South Kensington is a great area to be based as there is always so much going on. Our team on Harrington Road are big fans of a morning coffee from Malibu on Bute Street and personally for dining out in the area Rocca and Bumpkin on the Old Brompton Road are right up there!

What would you say to anyone looking to move into the area?

Go for it! There is something in South Kensington for everyone whether you are a family, professional or student. You can explore the new exhibitions at the V&A, grab a bargain at the South Kensington Bookshop, enjoy the delights of the Hummingbird Bakery or admire the Neo-Baroque architecture of the Brompton Oratory. So if you have any questions please call us because I’m sure someone in our team would be able to help persuade you of its merits.
