Festival bunnies. Streatham loves a festival and hosts both the annual Food Festival in June and the Festival in July. Founded in 2009 by Mel Larsen, The Food Festival celebrates the taste of the world by showing off all the delights that Streatham has to offer. The annual Streatham Festival began in 2001 and has grown in popularity ever since. It is a celebration of local artist and from musicians to comedy and films.

Glorious green. Streatham residents are spoilt for choice when it comes to wide open green spaces. There is Tooting Bec common to the north which is home to the largest open-air fresh water lido in the UK.  In the south of residents can enjoy Streatham Common which holds an annual kite-flying day in June and the nearby Rookery, a little-known formal hillside park with views to the Surrey countryside.

The Odeon is the local multiplex cinema, and as home to the UK’s number one Ice Hockey team, Streatham has it’s very own ice rink & leisure centre. The Hideaway is one of London’s leading jazz venues and hosts a weekly comedy night.
