People looking to rent and buy London property in the Battersea region may be attracted by the area's park facilities, a new study suggests.In news that may interest estate agents in Battersea, more than 85 per cent of people questioned in a recent poll of Wandsworth borough residents said they were happy with local parkland attractions.
Battersea Park, which has recently had a number of its original Victorian and Festival of Britain features restored to their former glory, is one such public park that offers local residents open spaces to relax and exercise in.
Carried out by the Department for Communities and Local Government, the Place Survey also showed that a number of people living in Wandsworth areas are pleased with the sports and leisure facilities available to them.
With historic gardens, Battersea Park dates back to 1854.
It offers local residents a number of summer events including free live music.
